Pressure is a critical factor to measure – with reliable, durable, and accurate measuring equipment being a must. Pressure can be measured when a pressure sensing element, typically a diaphragm, is in contact with a medium. Both pressure gauges and pressure transmitters are commonly used products in production, manufacturing and process applications. The difference between a pressure gauge and transmitter is that a pressure transmitter can give a signal output so the pressure reading can be seen at a remote location while a gauge provides an on site visual status indication. The Rosemount, Winters and GIC pressure transmitters and gauges are ideally suitable for a broad spectrum of industrial and commercial applications.
